The Pub Talk message board service is provided free of charge for visitors to the site who wish to discuss issues related to pubs, pub life and the drinks business, perhaps in a serious vein, perhaps light-hearted banter. We don't mind if your views differ from our own, as long as they are expressed in a reasonable and civilised fashion.
We don't ask you to pre-register to use Pub Talk and we hope to run this FREE service with a minimum of rules and regulations, for the benefit and enjoyment of our online friends.
Unfortunately, we still find that a small minority of Internet users consistently abuse the service to the detriment of the community as a whole.
The owners reserve the right to reject and delete any messages which, in their opinion, are in bad taste, offensive, or in any way could be considered an abuse of the service.
Pub Talk is not to be used to advertise commercial services. We have areas of Pub World more suited to commercial advertising and sponsorship at modest prices. Please contact us if you wish to discuss advertising opportunities.
Any "Make Money Fast" postings will be deleted as soon as we see them, and we do not endorse any of these schemes. No matter how good it sounds, no matter how mathematically foolproof it claims to be, these pyramid schemes do not work and you will NOT make money fast. In fact, you won't make money at all. If you receive emails from people claiming to have made £20,000 in three weeks, we suggest you forward such postings to the Inland Revenue, the VAT Inspector and the Fraud Squad. For scams giving US postal addresses, you can forward the mail to the FTC's email fraud investigation team using uce@ftc.gov
Any postings which contain obscene material, libellous material, or other potentially illegal material under UK law will be removed and the server log files will be made available to the appropriate investigating authorites.
If anything is posted on the Pub Talk service which causes you offense, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will give the matter our immediate attention.
